He was also the Orchestral Manager of the Wren Orchestra of London for 11 years.
In the Spring of 1998 he was invited to be the Orchestra Manager of PETRONAS' Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra in the Dewan Filharmonik PETRONAS and came to Malaysia on a year's contract.
He has taught the violin in London since the early 1980's both privately and in schools.
It was through John's initiative that Allegro Strings was created, which provides and services stringed instruments for students of Allegro Music as well as for the general public.
In a few short years, Allegro Strings has paired numerous young string players with instruments that successfully satisfy all levels of playing quality and budget requirements.
